  • David Adamany-WSU Alumni Association Endowed Scholarship

    We strive to increase opportunities for students of all backgrounds. By offering scholarships to students involved in extracurricular groups, we recognize how student activities contribute to the educational experience and campus life. Through this scholarship program.

    Students who have participated in extracurricular activities at WSU are eligible to apply for this scholarship. Awards are for tuition and other educational expenses for full- or part-time undergraduate or graduate study in the fall, winter and spring/summer semesters.

    Applications for the 2018-19 academic year were due by 5 p.m. on January 31, 2018. The Office of Alumni Relations is no longer accepting applications.  

     

     

     

  • Taylor A. Lewis, M.D., and Cleveland Hurst III Endowed Scholarship

    Dr. Taylor A. Lewis and Cleveland Hurst III served on the WSU Alumni Association Board of Directors and Executive Committee, and Dr. Lewis also served as Alumni Association president. He established the Taylor A. Lewis, M.D., and Cleveland Hurst III Endowed Scholarship in 2011 to recognize scholastic achievement, encourage continued progress and help students finance their education at Wayne State University. 

    Current full- or part-time undergraduate students are eligible to apply for this scholarship, which provides $1,000 of financial assistance to those who wish to return to school after a postponement of post-secondary education. Awards may be used for Wayne State tuition and educational expenses.
