Robert J. Fox

R.J. Fox is a metro Detroit-based author who recently penned the novel, Awaiting Identification, which is set entirely in Detroit. The book, published by Ann Arbor-based publisher Fish Out of Water Books, was inspired by a 1999 Detroit Free Press article about the numerous unidentified bodies that arrive at the Wayne County Medical Examiner's office each year.

The book was selected for inclusion in Metro Times' 2018 Summer Guide as one of the "notable books with Michigan hooks to stimulate your mind or help you unwind."

Fox is also the author of 2016's memoir Love & Vodka.
