Justin A. Hanna, Bus. '12, J.D. '16, M.B.A. '16

Justin A. Hanna was named to the Michigan Lawyers Weekly "Up & Coming Lawyers Class of 2017." The recognition honors 30 lawyers who have spent less than a decade in practice and have achieved accomplishments that set them apart from their peers.

Hanna is an associate in the Corporate Practice Group of law firm Jaffe Raitt Heuer & Weiss. His practice focuses on mergers and acquisitions and commercial real estate transactions.

Hanna's accomplishments extend to the local community. He established and led an effort on behalf of the firm that assisted more than 140 Iraqi nationals from the metro Detroit area by providing them with proper legal representation while they addressed their immigration status in an attempt to avoid deportation. Hanna is a member of the Chaldean American Chamber of Commerce and the Association for Corporate Growth.

While at WSU, Hanna was the founding chair of the Wayne State Transactional Law Competition, a co-curricular program that become a mainstay for business-minded law students at the university.
