Volunteer opportunities are categorized in four distinct focus areas. Certain opportunities are available to all registered volunteers, while others are specialized for select audiences. From on-campus events to community outreach initiatives, postcard campaigns and more, there's no shortage of ways to get involved.
Alumni Admissions Ambassador
For students considering Wayne State, there's no better perspective than that of a proud alum. Share your insight, experiences and words of encouragement with future Warriors through college fairs, phone corps, postcard campaigns and coffee meetings.
Help current students excel academically and accomplish their goals by lending your expertise as a guest speaker, alumni mentor or member of the scholarship committee.
Diversity and Inclusion
Wayne State students and alumni come from all walks of life, with different cultures, backgrounds, experiences and ideas. Help continue our commitment to diversity by taking part in programs such as Rainbow Reunion, African American Grad Celebration and other initiatives led by the Office of Multicultural Student Engagement.
Community Engagement and Legislative Advocacy
Help support key university priorities, get engaged with alumni affinity programs, or take part in the National Day of Service. You can also advocate for Wayne State at the governmental level during coordinated outreach programs and events like WSU Warrior Day in Lansing.
