What is the WSU Alumni Day of Service?
On Saturday, June 13, 2020, the WSU Alumni Day of Service will unite alumni across the country for a single day of hands-on volunteerism to benefit our communities in Detroit and wherever Warriors call home.
Where is the WSU Alumni Day of Service taking place?
Everywhere! Sign up to join us at one of our designated service sites in Detroit; Chicago; Washington, D.C.; Los Angeles; New York City or Northern California. Or get in on the fun by volunteering on your own to help an organization or cause in your community that you are passionate about. Be sure to register your independent project so we can send you information and swag.
Who can sign up for the WSU Alumni Day of Service?
All Wayne State alumni, their friends and family members over the age of 10 are welcome to volunteer and show their Warriors Together spirit. Some project sites may have restrictions — please see details about your specific location for any issues that may affect your participation.
Do I need to register in advance?
Yes, advanced registration is required for all projects — even independent projects you do on your own. All designated sites have limited space and may fill up quickly. As soon as you're committed to participating on June 13, fill out the registration form. If you have questions, write to firstname.lastname@example.org or call 313-577-2300.
What is the registration deadline?
The deadline to register for the 2020 WSU Alumni Day of Service is Monday, June 1.
How should I dress to volunteer?
WSU Alumni Day of Service events will take place across the country in a range of conditions and climates. Please see the specific project you are interested in for applicable attire details.

We encourage all alumni and volunteers to talk with their friends, family and colleagues about the WSU Alumni Day of Service.
