Alumna links global peacemakers during Young Leaders of the Americas Initiative fellowship in Colombia

Peace educators worldwide are sharing ideas and curricula through a virtual platform launched in Colombia last month with the help of alumna Gaia Klotz '16, a 2017 Professional Fellow of the Young Leaders of the Americas Initiative Reverse Exchange Program.

Scholarship support provides balance for a range of caregiving

Blair Grose has had a lifelong interest in mental health. As a nurse, wife and mother of two (with a third on the way), she is pursuing her master's at Wayne State University's College of Nursing to become a psychiatric nurse practitioner. The support she has received from scholarships has allowed her to balance the demands of her family, job and school.

The Baroudeur

Participate in Wayne State's cycling event to raise money for student scholarships. The Baroudeur is a fun, noncompetitive event for riders of all abilities.

Time: 7 a.m., 8:30 a.m. and 10 a.m. start times

The Wayne State University Dance Team is raising funds to attend the National Dance Alliance Camp in Louisville, Kentucky, and they need your help! Your gift makes sure every member of the dance team will be able to attend camp this July. Make your gift and help them to reach their crowdfunding goal by July 7.
