The alumni association’s print and electronic communications were recognized by two organizations this summer.

Wayne State magazine received an award of honor in June from the International Association of Business Communicators Detroit chapter. The magazine received the award in the category Communications Creative, which recognizes excellence in innovation, creativity and visual communication.

Also, the alumni association’s e-newsletters @ Wayne State and Let’s Go! earned an award of excellence from APEX, Awards for Publication Excellence, a national competition. The e-newsletters were recognized in the “One- to Two-Person Produced” category.
