Joye Clark is the Advocacy and Student Recruitment Manager for alumni relations. Joye develops and implements programs to encourage alumni participation in public advocacy and student recruitment.
Joye brings almost 10 years of professional experience to the alumni association. She began her career working for Congressman David Bonior in both his Washington, D.C., and Mount Clemens offices. In 2000, she joined Wayne State in the Office of Government and Community Affairs, where she worked as an outreach and public relations officer.
Joye earned a bachelor’s degree in political science from Carson-Newman College and a master’s degree in political communication from Wayne State University.
