Chris Cahill is associate executive director of the alumni association. He provides overall direction and leadership for the programs of the national alumni association as well as the activities of the 13 school/college/interest alumni groups.

 

Chris was assistant director of alumni relations from 1998 to 2003 after having worked in Student Affairs for four years. His responsibilities included the Student Alumni Association, constituent programs, events and membership. He created the Recent Alumni Committee and all of its activities to engage young alumni. During his tenure, membership increased 18 percent. Before returning to Wayne State, Chris was director of alumni relations at Henry Ford Health Systems.

 

Chris served for the last three years on the Wayne State University Alumni Association Board of Directors. He received a master’s degree in education from Wayne State.
