The Wayne State University Alumni Association Past Presidents Council was established in 1994 as an advisory group to the Wayne State University Alumni Association (WSUAA) Board of Directors “to bring the individual and collective experience and thinking of alumni former leaders to any matters for which they are consulted for input and advice.”
With its wealth of knowledge, wisdom and resources, the Past Presidents Council continues the involvement and participation of former alumni leadership with the university and the alumni association.
Membership
The Past Presidents Council includes all past presidents and the current president of the Wayne State University Alumni Association, the Executive Director and Executive Director Emeritus.
Meetings
There generally are four meetings of the Past Presidents Council each year. Meetings are intended to be a forum for members to receive information on activities and programs of the university and the alumni association and to offer their collective advice and counsel.
